Completion of environmental approvals strategic pathway for development of a Micro LNG Plant on a coal mine site to recovery waste incidental coal seam gas for beneficial end use. Completion and oversight of environmental investigations. Completion of environmental authority application and supporting documents for multiple sites. Regulatory liaison, client support, and advice. Completion of Baseline Environmental Site Assessment.

Completion of formal risk assessments at nine outport terminals around Australia. Working with our partners at Geosyntec SQEES lead risk assessment workshops that drew on real world geological and hydrogeological data, technical expertise in hydrocarbon infiltration modelling, local environmental sensitivities, and emergency response capabilities to establish detailed environmental risk profiles for refined hydrocarbon product storage bunded compounds. Completed risk assessments may be used to inform and prioritise future engineering improvement programs.

Stanthorpe Agricultural Society, Queensland
2026
Development of five-year strategic plan for the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society. Collection and collation of vision, mission, current context, and strategic goals. Working with society stakeholders to establish objectives that will deliver goals, and actions that will deliver objectives.
Lennon Engineering & Construction, Brisbane, Queensland
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Management System – 2020–2026
Maintenance of the Lennon Engineering & Construction ISO45001 accredited management system. Works included internal audits, document updates to align with operational practices, and HSEQ support for all aspects of operations.
The Lennon Engineering system was externally audited and re-accredited, with no non-conformances or significant findings, in 2024, 2025 and 2026. The system is mature and the current focus is on maintaining system standards through growth and expansion including expanding the system to include new offices.

Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service, Bunyaville Dam
2024–2026
Completion of preliminary soil and water assessment and development of a comprehensive environmental management plan for a dam decommissioning project in a designated conservation park. Works program included soil, sediment, and surface water sampling and oversight of ecological assessment works. Completion of environmental monitoring and oversight of implementation of environmental management controls through the full dam decommissioning project, to reinstatement of the original valley form.

Environmental investigation, site and stormwater inspection. Preliminary environmental site assessment. Project included comprehensive site inspection, soil and groundwater sampling, and reporting for submission to internal stakeholders and the regulatory authority. Field works completed with our partners Legion Drilling.

2024–2025
Completion of preliminary soil and water assessment, and development of a comprehensive environmental management plan for a dam decommissioning project in a designated conservation park. Works program included soil, sediment, and surface water sampling and establishment of ecological and environmental management controls.

Fertiliser Distributor, Depot Network, Queensland & NSW

Completion of preliminary (desktop) environmental assessments for a network of 18 sites in rural and regional areas in New South Wales and Queensland. Included a comprehensive evaluation of site history, and risk-based assessment in accordance with Environmental Protection Legislation.
EDG Consulting, Brisbane, Queensland
2023
Environmental Investigation & Management Plans for a residential redevelopment site in the Brisbane CBD. Included historical review, soil assessment, groundwater assessment, and acid sulphate soils assessment. We partner with EDG to provide environmental support to complement their geotechnical expertise.

Suitably Qualified Person – 2022–2023
Completion and reporting of investigations and actions in compliance with an Environmental Protection Order issued by Department of Environment and Science. Completed works included oversight of integrity assessment and rehabilitation of the groundwater monitoring network, installation of new groundwater monitoring wells, installation of new groundwater recovery wells, pumping and treatment trials, development of remediation system conceptual design, and modelling and monitoring. The SQP provided oversight and reporting on site-based infrastructure and operational improvements.

Lead Auditor – 2021–2024
Completion of annual internal environmental audit program from 2021 to 2024. Works completed under a sub-consultancy agreement. Audit program assessed compliance with land management requirements. Audit topics included land management, heritage management, overabundant species management, pest management, bushfire management, first-response fire-fighting, and airfield operations. Christopher and Louise Doig are both qualified in auditing management systems in accordance with International Standards Organisation (ISO) requirements. Christopher holds current certification from Exemplar Global to lead environmental management system audits.

Suitably Qualified Person – 2022–2023
Completion of environmental Site Investigation at the fertiliser manufacturing and storage facility at Pinkenba, Queensland. Investigation was in accordance with Environmental Evaluation Notice issued by the Department of Environment & Science, and incorporated review and collation of over 30 years of environmental investigation data addressing a broad range of contaminants, repair of groundwater monitoring network, installation of new groundwater monitoring wells, collection of soil, sediment, surface water and groundwater and reporting in accordance with the requirements of the National Environmental Protection (Contaminated Land) Measure.

Enforceable Undertaking – 2022–2024
Development of content for enforceable undertaking addressing potential impacts to groundwater and the receiving environment. Enforceable undertaking was subsequently negotiated and executed and is published on the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science & Innovation (DETSI) internet site (https://www.detsi.qld.gov.au/). Principal Environmental Manager Christopher Doig subsequently managed compliance reporting against the EU to mid-2024.
